DAVE BRYSCH

CEO

After getting my start in the US Air Force and working for a few Fortune 500 companies, I found my place when I landed at a contract furniture dealer in 1988 – that’s where my career really started! I founded Empact IT in 1998, and we have been focused on software development and reporting since its inception. Over the years, we grew, operated, and then sold a healthy IT managed service business. That was really a distraction from what we are passionate about, which is creating great solutions!

Outside of work, I am a fanatical fisherman (hard to really even call it a hobby, it’s an obsession). I also love travelling the world with my beautiful wife and spending time on the Texas coast, with our dog Brady, every chance we get. I’m working on getting my priorities in line so that I can get back to my other passion of golf. One of these days…

SHAWN PINTO

COO

Over the span of 19 years, I’ve had the opportunity to experience the gamut of roles as an IT Consultant: Java developer, all tiers of support, business analyst, project manager, team lead, sales, manager, and director. When I came out of school, I always said that I want to help people through software to do their jobs more efficiently, and Empact IT has fulfilled that desire for me every step of my career.

Outside of work, I love being with my family, caring for my daughter and Doberman, skiing, cooking, smoking meats, and going on adventures, whether that’s hiking, backpacking, whitewater rafting, or anything mountain- or water-related!

GARY GRAEFF
Practice Manager, Contract Furniture

I started my career working 10 years for a very large computer company in a technical sales role. I had the privilege of working directly with our customers every day. When that company closed their local sales office, I went to work for one of my customers serving in multiple technology leadership roles over the span of 27 years, but I missed the direct interaction with customers. Now, I’m back where I started, working for a customer-focused technology and services company. Empact IT is giving me the chance to create the best products and solutions for our clients and partners in a vibrant and energetic environment!

Away from work, my first passion is my family, including my wife and my four geographically dispersed kids and my two grandkids. I love to fish, but there’s never enough time for it. And I’m an avid reader, which supports my desire to always learn and grow. I hope to always learn and reinvent myself until it’s no longer necessary!

JULIAN ATLASOVICH
Development Manager, Microsoft Practice

In my career, I’ve been working with data and technology across multiple industries, including the biggest e-commerce platform in Latin America (Mercado Libre) and the world’s largest phone manufacturer (Samsung). My journey has taken me across three countries—Argentina, the UK, and Spain—where I’ve embraced a variety of tech-focused roles, from hands-on development to data analysis and automation.

Outside of work, I love reading science fiction, traveling, and finding great food along the way. I like to think I bring curiosity to everything I do, whether it’s building an app or figuring out if the local pizzeria really is the best in town.

RICARDO MACIAS
Development Manager, Cloud Applications

I am a DEVELOPER and love building innovative solutions and wrestling complex code into submission. With a BS in Computer Science from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and over ten years of full-stack development experience, I’ve been passionate about creating impactful software since my first line of code. At Empact IT, I thrive on working with the team to craft tools that make our clients’ lives easier and push tech forward.

When I’m not at my desk, you’ll catch me battling it out in video games, sweating through a tough workout, or jetting off to explore new corners of the world. Whether I’m conquering a virtual world, lifting heavier than last week, or soaking up a new culture, I’m always chasing the next challenge and a good story to tell.

KEVIN BOOTH
Development Manager, Data & Integration

I’m a problem solver at heart with experience in solution architecture, data engineering, and data analytics. I build and lead the development of scalable, reliable systems that help organizations work more efficiently and make better use of their data. Most of my career has been in digital marketing, where I’ve designed solutions to support high volume data integrations and performance analytics. More recently, I’ve begun expanding my reach into business financial data. My approach is always practical and hands-on, bridging the gap between technical execution and business needs.

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors hiking, skateboarding, snowboarding, paddle boarding, anything that gets me away from screens and into nature. My wife and I are avid hikers and spend time each year backpacking in the White Mountains. Together, we’ve completed all 48 of New Hampshire’s 4,000-footers. I also enjoy working with my hands, whether it’s on cars or tackling projects around the house.

SCOTT LLOYD
Manager, Support and Implementation

I originally started out in the Hospitality Industry which gave me the opportunity to work in Europe and TopGolf for a few years. I’ve always enjoyed delivering the best possible experience to guests and wanted a new way to do just that. I joined the IT field in 2019 and Empact IT in 2021. Since joining the Empact IT team, I truly believe I found my calling. I have been able to expand my knowledge of software development, implement new and efficient processes, and work with an amazing to deliver the best client experiences.

Outside of work, you can find me out and about around Houston. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing golf, bowling, traveling, and rooting for all the Houston Cougars sports!

ERIC GIVENS
Client Services Manager

Having worked with Empact IT for over a decade before joining I was able to fine tune my skills through a variety of challenges- from starting and growing analytics teams in healthcare and marketing to working with NATO on social listening for counter-terrorism, all while using data to make complex business decisions. At Empact IT I’m able to apply my passion of helping people problem solve complex issues with customized solutions using data.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 kids. We enjoy spending time together outside. Whether its playing baseball and coloring with chalk on the driveway, playing golf. or swimming in the pool, you will always find us outside. I am a huge sports fan for all things TCU as well as the Astros.
