Privacy Policy.

This policy explains how Empact IT Solutions LLC (“Empact IT”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through empactit.com (the “site”). It does not cover the Matrix Cloud platform or other services we provide under a customer agreement; those are governed by that agreement.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, company, work email, phone number (optional), the systems you use, your message, and whether you ticked the optional boxes to receive calls or texts and marketing emails, with the date and time you did. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share.

Information collected automatically. Like every website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We use it only to run, secure and troubleshoot the site.

Cookies and tracking. The site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking technologies, and our fonts are served from our own site rather than a third party. If that changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

How we use it

• To reply to your request and arrange the conversation you asked for.
• If you agreed to it, to call or text you and to send you marketing emails (see below).
• To keep the site and contact form secure, including blocking spam and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making.

Calls, texts and marketing emails

Calls and texts. We call or text the phone number you give us, including by automated means, only if you tick the box on the contact form agreeing to it. Consent is not a condition of buying anything from us. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling us on a call, or emailing info@empactit.com. We do not sell or share your phone number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.

Marketing emails. We send occasional emails about Matrix Cloud, product news and events only if you tick the box on the contact form asking for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our postal address, and we honor unsubscribe requests within ten business days. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still email you about a request you made or services you use.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

• Service providers who run the site and deliver form messages to our team, currently Microsoft (Azure hosting and Microsoft 365 email). They may use it only to provide those services to us.
• Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Empact IT, our customers or others.
• A buyer or successor if Empact IT is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under the same protections.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up on your request, and as long as any business relationship continues. Hosting logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider. When we no longer need information, we delete it.

How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and form messages are delivered to a restricted company mailbox. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we hold.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, such as the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of today. We will not discriminate against you for using your rights.

To make a request, email info@empactit.com or call 833-EMPACTIT. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because the site does not track visitors across websites or over time, it treats every visitor the same whether or not the browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. If we ever add tracking, we will honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of sale and sharing.

Children

The site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
